It was great to see so many like-minded hard-core Mad Max fans out on Wednesday night at the Randwick Ritz Cinemas, to help celebrate the opening night of the inaugural Australian Film Festival.

Popcorn Taxi's Creative Director Chris Murray and the rest of the fabulous Popcorn Taxi team put on a great night that I'm sure was enjoyed by all, including those cast and crew in attendance. The Q&A was brilliant and provided a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these wonderful artists. Their generous and often hilarious banter left us all in little wonder as to why the film has been so successful. The following video clip gives those who couldn't attend a taste of the Q&A.

The generosity of spirit continued well into the night with many an autograph signed and photograph posed for. Any fan's dream come true, for sure!

We were also privileged to be able to show off a teaser for our upcoming feature-length documentary, The Madness of Max, that has sparked much interest already if our website's inbox is anything to go by!

On the night, Chris Murray called Mad Max "the Greatest Australian Film Ever Made". I'm sure that anyone sitting in the audience on Wednesday would have found it hard to disagree.
